15. How to ensure the quality of high-frequency welded steel pipes?

15.1. Raw material selection
Steel strip quality: select high-quality steel with less impurities and low sulfur and phosphorus content to ensure the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of high-frequency welded pipes.
Packaging and transportation: Use appropriate packaging methods to avoid surface damage during storage and transportation.
Storage: Try not to store it without leaking the day.
15.2. Equipment accuracy and stability
Equipment accuracy: Ensure that the high-frequency welded pipe production equipment has high precision to ensure the dimensional accuracy and shape stability of the welded pipe.
Equipment stability: Strengthen equipment maintenance, reduce failure rates, and ensure equipment stability during long-term operation.
Equipment selection: Select the appropriate equipment model and specifications according to production needs to ensure that the equipment can meet production requirements.
15.3. Welding process
Welding parameter adjustment: According to factors such as pipe material, specifications, and wall thickness, reasonably adjust the frequency, power, current, and welding speed of the high-frequency welding machine to ensure weld quality.
Position of the induction ring and impedancer: The induction ring should be placed on the same centerline as the steel pipe, and keep an appropriate distance from the surface of the steel pipe; The impedance should be placed in the heating section of the V-shaped zone, and its cross-sectional area should not be less than 70% of the cross-sectional area of the inner diameter of the steel pipe to ensure the formation of electromagnetic induction loop and the concentration of eddy current heat.
Weld gap control: Adjust the extrusion amount of the extrusion roller to control the weld gap between 1-3mm to ensure the welding quality of the weld.
Bevel Shape: For thick-walled pipes, appropriate bevel shapes (such as "X" shapes) should be employed to improve uniform heating of the weld and weld quality.
15.4. Molding process
Ensure that the adjustment of equipment such as forming rollers, guide rollers, and extrusion rollers is accurate for good tube shape and dimensional accuracy.
15.5. Cold bending process
For high-frequency welded pipes that require cold bending, cold bending process parameters, such as cold bending angle, bending radius, etc., should be controlled to ensure the bending performance and service life of the pipe.
15.6. Personnel quality
Job skills: Strengthen the skill training of production personnel, so that they can master the process flow, equipment operation and quality control points of high-frequency welded pipe production.
Quality awareness: Cultivate the quality awareness of production personnel, so that they realize the importance of product quality and operate in strict accordance with quality control standards.
