25. What equipment is needed for spiral welded pipes? What is the principle of the device?

The production equipment of spiral welded pipes is usually composed of uncoilers, leveling machines, shears, disc shears, conveyors, guide plates, formers, internal and external welding machines, plasma cutting machines, etc.
Uncoiler: When working, the strip steel is placed on the idler, and the strip is rotated by the idler rotation, and the cone head cylinder clamps the strip to make the strip steel smooth, and the shovel head opens the strip head to realize the uncoiling process.
Leveler: Feeds and flattens the steel plate opened from the uncoiler forward. The pinch roller and the leveling roller are driven by the motor and connected by the universal shaft to achieve full active leveling, and the leveling roller is arranged four times above and three down. In order to increase the leveling capacity, support rollers are set up above and below the leveling rollers. The transmission motor part is equipped with a clutch, and when the strip is sent to the conveyor, the clutch is opened to achieve passive leveling.
Shears: Shears are mainly used to cut the head and tail parts of the strip. This is because in the continuous production process, the head and tail parts of the strip are often not suitable for direct welding into spiral welded pipes due to various reasons (such as non-standard size, poor surface quality, etc.). Therefore, the shear machine needs to accurately remove these unqualified parts to ensure the smooth progress of the subsequent welding process.
Disc shear: Use the shear force of the upper and lower circular shear blades to continuously cut the plate and belt.
Conveyor: In the production of spiral seam double-sided submerged arc welded pipe, the driving force of the whole unit is provided by the conveyor, and under the action of the conveyor, the whole process of steel strip from uncoiling to forming is gradually realized.
Guide plate: The main function of the guide plate is to stabilize the guide, and the guide plate ensures that the strip maintains a smooth trajectory during the conveying process through its design structure, preventing the strip from shifting or fluctuating during the forward process.
Former: The main function of the former is to shape steel strip coils into spiral-shaped tube blanks. This is the first and most critical step in the production of spiral welded pipes. Through its specific structure and working principle, the former gradually winds and presses the strip into spiral-shaped billets.
Internal and external welding machine: The main function of the internal welding machine is to often warm the spiral crimping into the spiral seam of the pipe blank for double-sided welding.
Plasma Cutting Machine: Plasma cutting machine is characterized by high speed and efficiency. In spiral welded pipe production lines, when steel pipes reach a certain length (such as 8-12 meters), they need to be cut off from the continuous production line. Plasma cutting can quickly accomplish this task, ensuring the continuity and efficiency of the production line.
