Analyze the cause of abrasion resistance of galvanized steel pipe

Galvanized steel pipes are based on their own high toughness, good bending and welding properties, but they are mainly made of important components with high abrasion resistance and cracking resistance. The wear-resistant layer of wear-resistant alloy tube is different, and generally controlled between 3-120mm, so its hardness level is also different.

Compared with ordinary alloy wear -resistant pipes or other materials, the abrasion resistance of alloy wear -resistant steel pipes is much stronger, and the abrasion resistance obtained by spraying and thermal spray is much higher. The abrasion -resistant layer of wear -resistant pipes is a combination of metallurgy, with high combination strength.

Even if it is impacted, energy can be absorbed during the impact, and the wear -resistant layer will not fall off. If it can be suitable for strong vibration and impact, this is unacceptable to cast wear -resistant materials and ceramic materials.

Although ordinary galvanized steel pipes can be increased after heat treatment or surface carburizing, nitrogen seepage, etc., if the hardness of this abrasion -resistant alloy tube is too high, it may be peeling off quickly. Soft materials may also be more wear -resistant.

The reason why the alloy wear resistance is wear -resistant is mainly because they not only have hard particles, but also soft substrates. Generally, in the process of wear, there will be some shed substances that will be integrated into the soft substrate without causing great damage to the surface.

If the hardness of the pipe substrate structure is relatively high, the abrasive or other substances of the fall will grind each other during the process of motion, and will destroy the substrate structure faster. For galvanized steel pipes, hardness is only one of the parameters, which is also related to its chemical components, but as a key parameter for measuring the performance of the pipeline, it must be paid more attention.
