Function of Chamfering

The end face of spiral seam double-sided submerged arc welded pipes after plasma flying cut may exhibit defects such as uneven pipe ends, cutting inclination, slag, and length out of tolerance. Through processing with a chamfering machine, these defects can be eliminated on the one hand, and on the other hand, welding bevels can be prepared on the pipe ends.
