In the production process of spiral welded pipes, to ensure continuous production on the production line, two rolls of steel strips need to be welded together to form a continuous strip. However, the width and thickness of the head and tail sections of the steel strip during the rolling and forming process do not meet production requirements. Therefore, the head and tail sections must be cut off before the two sections of steel strip can be welded together.
