Methods to Reduce the Production of Zinc Ash

(1) Appropriately adding aluminum to the galvanizing pot;

(2) Reducing the contact area between the molten zinc surface and air by using a galvanizing pot with a smaller diameter;

(3) Lowering the temperature of the molten zinc to maintain it at the lower limit of the process temperature;

(4) Not using dust removal equipment with high airflow on the surface of the molten zinc;

(5) Using the "protective gas reduction method" to isolate most of the molten zinc surface from air;

(6) Covering the surface of the molten zinc with a layer of activated carbon treated with boric acid, or a mixture of diatomaceous earth and aluminum oxide;

(7) Ensuring that the solvent on the steel pipes is thoroughly dried.
