Principle of High-Frequency Welding

High-frequency welding uses solid resistance heat as its energy source. It heats the surface layer of the welding zone of the workpiece to a molten or nearly plastic state through the resistance heat generated by high-frequency current flowing through the workpiece. Then, by applying (or not applying) upset force, the metal is bonded. It is a solid-phase resistance welding method widely used in the production lines for pipes and profiles.
