Role of Chamfering in the Production Process of Spiral Welded Pipes

After plasma flying cut of the double-sided submerged arc welded spiral seam pipe ends, defects such as uneven pipe ends, beveling cuts, slag inclusion, and length out of tolerance may occur. Through processing with a chamfering machine, these defects can be eliminated on the one hand, and on the other hand, welding bevels can be machined on the pipe ends.
