Surface Treatment Methods and Installation of Spiral Pipe

Surface Treatment Methods for Spiral Pipe:

Spiral pipe is named so because of its apparent spiral pattern on the exterior. During production, it utilizes low-carbon structural steel or low-alloy structural steel as the material, which is then formed at a specific angle and finally connected by welding. Next, let's discuss the various methods for treating the surface of spiral pipe.

First, direct cleaning methods are employed, utilizing solvents, emulsions, and the like to clean the exterior of the pipe. This can effectively remove dust, grease, and other organic substances from the surface. However, it is unable to remove deeper rust or oxide layers.

Therefore, when installing acoustic pipes into reinforcement cages, it is crucial to adhere to the specified dimensions and secure them onto the main reinforcement bars. For sections without reinforcement cages, three reinforcing bars should be attached to the ports of the acoustic pipes, with careful control over the spacing between these hardware components. When handling the second section of the reinforcement cage, materials of varying lengths must be inserted into designated locations and sealed properly. Subsequently, wires are threaded through the lifting loops of the pipes. Throughout this process, workers must exercise caution to avoid applying excessive pressure.
