After emerging from the molten zinc bath, steel pipes must undergo blowing and wiping treatment on both their inner and outer surfaces for the following reasons:
(1) To remove zinc tumors, zinc ash, flux residue, and other floating particles adhered to the galvanized coating.
(2) To achieve a smooth and bright galvanized layer on both the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipes, thereby extending their service life and reducing fluid transportation resistance.
(3) To achieve a more uniform thickness of the pure zinc layer, thus conserving zinc consumption and lowering costs.
