The coating should have a smooth appearance with uniform color, free from bubbles, cracks, and cratering. Mild orange peel patterns are acceptable.

Holidays in the anticorrosive coating are inspected using an online electric spark leak detector with a test voltage of 25KV. The coating is deemed qualified if there are no holidays.
4. Peel Strength Test
Preparation of instruments and equipment: tensile testing machine, portable peel strength tester, dynamometer, steel ruler, cutting knife, and thermometer.
5. Cathodic Disbondment Strength Test
The main instruments and equipment required include an adjustable DC stabilized power supply, constant temperature device, magnetic measuring instrument, electric spark leak detector, vernier caliper, plastic cylinder, auxiliary electrode, reference electrode, and sodium chloride solution.
6. Tensile Strength and Elongation at Break Test of Polyethylene Layer
7. Impact Resistance Test
Instruments and equipment to be prepared: impact testing machine (including impact hammer and vertical guide tube for the impact hammer). Additionally, an electric spark leak detector and a magnetic thickness gauge are also required.
