What are the main components of wet process flux?

Generally, the "wet process" flux mainly consists of the following two types of components:

One type uses ammonium chloride (NH₄Cl) alone as the flux. The other type uses a mixture of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride (i.e., ZnCl₂·2NH₂Cl or ZnCl₂·3NH₄Cl) as the flux. Additionally, some glycerol (approximately 6% by weight of the flux) or glycerin (approximately 1% by weight of the flux) is added. Additives such as sawdust or sugars may also be included for foaming purposes, which helps to retain moisture in the flux.
