What is the white rust of galvanized coatings? How to prevent and remove it?

When a layer of condensed water adhering to the surface of galvanized coatings reacts with oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, chloride compounds, soot particles, dust, and other chemical gases, it turns into a corrosive aqueous solution that attaches to the surface of the zinc layer, forming an electrolyte. This electrolyte undergoes electrochemical corrosion with the zinc layer, which has poor chemical stability, resulting in a powdery corrosion product known as "white rust."
