What is Zinc Dross

When a steel rod is inserted into the bottom of a galvanizing pot, one can feel a layer of condensed sandy material beneath. When these materials are scooped out using a dross skimmer, we can see a gray substance resembling bean paste, which is commonly known as zinc dross.
