Why aren't plastic pipes of standard length?

Generally, plastic pipes are longer than metal pipes. This is because plastic pipes are significantly affected by heat temperature. In order to avoid the problem of diameter reduction after cooling, the pipe ends are usually cut off after bonding to obtain better lined plastic composite pipes.
