Why Conduct an X-ray Inspection?

X-ray inspection is an inspection method that utilizes X-rays (or gamma rays or other high-energy rays) to penetrate metallic materials. Due to differences in the absorption and scattering of these rays by different materials, the film becomes sensitized to varying degrees, resulting in images with different degrees of blackness on the negatives. Based on these images, the internal defects of the materials can be judged.
