我国钢管工业发展历程

China's steel pipe industry began in the 1920s, with the first seamless steel pipe rolling mill built in 1953. Ansteel, as the cradle of the industry, introduced Soviet technology in the 1950s, trained professionals, and laid the foundation for development. In the 1960s-70s, domestically produced φ100mm tube rolling mills emerged, high-frequency welding replaced manual welding, and standardized designs drove nationwide adoption. After reform and opening, advanced technologies like continuous rolling mills were introduced, bringing equipment to international standards. Since the 21st century, China has become the world's largest producer and consumer of steel pipes, with output reaching nearly 80 million tons in 2013, accounting for 70% of global production. In recent years, production has stabilized at around 50 million tons, primarily used in real estate, machinery, and energy sectors, with exports of about 9 million tons.
