Manufacturing Process of 3PE Composite Pipes

Steel Pipe Inspection: Sort out base pipes with quality issues to prevent them from entering the next production process, reducing raw material waste.

External/Internal Sandblasting: Sandblasting can remove dirt, oxide scale, welding slag, etc., from the inner wall of the steel pipe. It cleans the inner surface of the steel pipe and reduces internal surface stress. This can effectively extend the service life of the steel pipe, reduce internal corrosion, and thereby improve both the intrinsic and appearance quality of the steel pipe.

Internal Blowing: Blow out steel sand and dust from inside the steel pipe to avoid affecting the internal coating.

Medium Frequency Heating (for Internal Coating): Heat the steel pipe to a certain temperature while removing moisture, preparing it for internal coating.

Internal Coating: With the help of pressure, disperse into uniform and fine mist droplets, and apply to the inner surface of the steel pipe to achieve a uniform coating.

Medium Frequency Heating (for External Coating): Heat the steel pipe to a certain temperature while removing moisture, preparing it for external coating.

External Coating: With the help of pressure, disperse into uniform and fine mist droplets, and apply to the outer surface of the steel pipe to achieve a uniform coating.

Extrusion Wrapping: Fully mix and melt plastic particles through a screw extruder with heating. The molten material is extruded from a slit die and then wrapped around the surface of the steel pipe using a rotating roller as the steel pipe moves forward in a spiral motion, driving the extrusion of the plastic film for continuous production.

Spray Cooling: The purpose of cooling is to fully cure the polyethylene layer, improving its mechanical properties.

Pipe End Treatment: According to welding process requirements, the anti-corrosion pipe has a reserved length of 100~150mm at the pipe ends for end treatment and connection.

Electric Spark Testing: Check for leaks in the corrosion protection layer to reduce the outflow of defective products and improve product quality.

Coding: Apply coding according to national requirements.

Packaging: Make product information visible and traceable.
