Production Equipment for 3PE Composite Pipes

The production equipment for 3PE composite pipes primarily comprises a series of specialized machinery designed for manufacturing this type of corrosion-resistant steel pipe. The following are the main components of this equipment:

Steel Pipe Pretreatment Equipment

Rust Removal Equipment: Used to remove rust, oil, and other impurities from the surface of the steel pipe, ensuring a clean and rough surface for better adhesion of subsequent corrosion protection layers. This typically includes equipment such as sandblasting machines and shot blasting machines.

Corrosion Protection Layer Coating Equipment

Epoxy Powder Spraying Equipment: Evenly sprays epoxy powder onto the surface of the steel pipe to form the first layer of corrosion protection. This includes equipment such as powder spray guns and heating furnaces to ensure the epoxy powder melts fully and adheres to the steel pipe.

Adhesive Coating Equipment: Applies a layer of adhesive onto the epoxy powder layer to connect it with the polyethylene layer. This is usually done through extruders or spray machines.

Polyethylene Extruder: Melts polyethylene material and extrudes it onto the steel pipe, forming the outermost layer of corrosion protection. This is one of the key pieces of equipment in the production of 3PE composite pipes, and its performance directly affects the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of the final product.

Cooling and Curing Equipment

Cooling Tank: Used to cool the steel pipe coated with the corrosion protection layer, allowing it to quickly solidify. This helps maintain the shape and performance of the corrosion protection layer.

Medium Frequency Heating

In some production processes, medium frequency heating may be used to preheat the steel pipe or further heat and cure the coated steel pipe to ensure complete solidification and stability of the corrosion protection layer.

Auxiliary Equipment

Pipe End Grinding: Used to grind off excess coating from the ends of the steel pipe, exposing the reserved ends.

Cutting Equipment: Cuts the corrosion-resistant steel pipe according to production needs to meet different length requirements.

Inspection Equipment: Includes online pinhole detectors and other equipment used to inspect the quality of the corrosion-resistant steel pipe during production, ensuring that the product quality meets standards.

Control System

Production Line Control System: Automates the control and management of the entire production process, including temperature control, speed control, and quality monitoring, to ensure process stability and product quality consistency.

These pieces of equipment collectively form the production line for 3PE composite pipes, achieving efficient and stable production through precise coordination and cooperation. Specific equipment configurations may vary among different manufacturers and production lines, but they generally follow the aforementioned basic principles and processes.
