The Development History of China's Steel Pipe Industry

In the early stage of the development of the steel pipe industry
At the beginning of the establishment of the People's Republic of China, on the vast land of the motherland, there was only a simple set of drawing furnace welding steel pipe machines and more than ten sets of pipe forming machines, manual welding or simple mechanical welding pipe machines scattered in several cities. Among them, the earliest recorded welded pipe factory in China was the Shanghai Rongtai Pipe Factory built in 1921. Subsequently, welded pipe factories were established in Shanghai to produce bed frame pipes, square shed pipes, wire pipes, and water pipes. In 1953, the Chinese people built the first seamless steel tube mill in China.
